TalkClok is designed with privacy as a foundational requirement. We believe that your morning routine, alarms, calendar schedule, and personal reminders belong exclusively to you. TalkClok does not collect, sell, monetize, or transmit your personal data to external servers or third-party advertisers.
2. 100% On-Device Processing
All core functionalities operate locally on your Apple device:
- Calendar & Reminders: Queried locally through Apple’s native
EventKitframework. Data is processed in-memory solely for reading your spoken briefing and is never uploaded. - Alarms & Speech: Managed locally via
AlarmKitand Apple’s built-inAVSpeechSynthesizerspeech synthesis engine. - Location: Used strictly to fetch localized weather and live commute estimates via Apple
WeatherKitandMapKit.
3. Zero Telemetry & Zero Analytics
TalkClok contains zero third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics libraries. No user identification profiles are ever created or maintained.
4. Direct Third-Party Feeds
When you enable external RSS feeds or stock ticker updates, network requests are made directly from your device to the requested content providers without routing through intermediary logging servers.
